Subject: Letterman the linguist?



Of late, David Letterman has been using a word, "gespinkto" (or

"gesfinkto"?), which seems to mean something like "finished," "kaput,"

(it's) "history." Does anyone know if this word has any basis in reality, or

is it just something our gap-toothed goofball from Indiana dreamed up?
