As to the bit about Fridge/icebox...



Growing up in Central Ohio in the seventies/eighties, I don't think I ever

heard anyone, even my grandparents, use Icebox. The only time I heard that

one was on movies and television! For that matter, we only used the term

stove. But "they" always called it an "Amana range" or something like that

on The Price Is Right. Is it perhaps a West Coast thing?
