In a posting to UVMToday, which goes to thousands of faculty, staff,

and students, someone today wrote, "Sorry . . . I still believe in blue not

pock-a-dot skies. Interesting. I write "polka dot," which _AH_ suggests as

a posssible respelling of "poke a dot."
