back to the major point -- which were you told and which do you tell very

young children at Halloween (when did we lose the apostrophe?) to go 'up'

(?) in order to knock at doors and yell "Trick or Treat!"?



Mississippi children go up the sidewalk to knock on a door. But then I

guess that's obvious since I'm the one who learned only a few days ago

that not all sidewalks are called sidewalks some places.
