Copies were also sent to Lawrence Ritter, who told me that he'll update

his "Yankees" entry in the Encyclopedia of New York CIty. He also stated

that he enjoyed a recent New York Times article about me concerning "Miss

Manhattan."

Finally, papers were sent months ago to New York City Mayor Rudolph

Giuliani, who's contemplating building a new stadium for the Yankees that

could cost taxpayers half a billion dollars.

He never wrote back.
