I know a Black man who grew up in a black town in Oklahoma and refers to

himself as a redneck. Seriously (i.e. he's serious). He likes country

music and writes songs in country style about Black heroes and sheroes.



Vis-a-vis racism, the term is not a complete analogue to the n-word.
