I don't think you have to go to Asia for examples. The documentaries

I have seen and the the books I have read point out that our own

native American population could be offended by the American flag.

However, that is a whole nuther issue. It doesn't change the issue

about the Confederate flag.



It would be interesting to know how people actually talk about

these points. It would be useful to know more than what a sound bite

on the evening news provides.
