Subject: Bologna tra-la-las & chicken-wire floats -Reply



I imagine chicken-wire floats (though I have always heard them called

just "floats" or "parade floats") are those structures made of

chicken wire into which crepe paper is stuffed. The whole mess, then,

is carried in a parade or displayed prominently on the lawn of your

high school or fraternity/sorority house. I helped to make many such

in high school and college.



No idea about bologna tra-la-las, though.
