Concord, MA has its "mall" --a rectangular green with monuments,

surrounded by the main roads, churches, inn, shops, and

various historic bldgs.



Oberlin, OH has "Tappan Square" --a large square wooded park

surrounded by the main roads, chapel, inn, shops, and various

campus bldgs.
