According to the news story I heard, bologna tra-la-las are made by cutting
a hole in the middle of a piece of bologna, then frying the bologna with an
egg in the hole. Chicken wire floats are simply parade floats made from
chicken wire frames stuffed with "poms," colored pieces of tissue paper to
look like flowers, opposing teams, etc.
