Subject: no mishaps

There is a phrase that I use and yet am not sure what the exact words are. Has

anyone heard: Borrowing no mishaps / Barring no mishaps. Which one is the

original? My grandma says it's the second one, but that one doesn't make sense.

Context example: "I will visit you at Christmas, barring / borrowing no

mishaps." "I graduate in June, barring / borrowing no mishaps." Etc. Does

anyone have any information?
