When I first came up to Western Mass. in 1959 or so, I remember

seeing apizza signs in northern Connecticut--I recall one place in

Simsbury on route 10 that we used to pass on our way south to visit

relatives. I'm pretty sure I saw it at other places back then, but I

haven't seen the spelling for several years now.
