A colleague abroad hears that a study on curse words has just

came out in the U.S. and asks for details. Does this ring a

The only book treating "curse words" as a broad subject that

has just come out is _Blue Streak,_ by Richard Dooling (Random

House). It's not a scholarly work, and it's not terribly good.
