The question was raised about whether English Only laws have

reached the Supreme Court. As far I know, not in this go-round.

However (I think I read it in an _English Today_ article

sometime in 88-89--I can check when I go home), laws of

this nature were passed in the early part of the century

(mostly relating to use of German) and one of those DID make

it to the Supreme Court. It was declared unconstitutional

(but I don't remember on what grounds).
